북한자유연합(수쟌 숄티 대표)이 전세계 북한인권단체와 연대하여 서울에서 제8회 자유북한주간(North Korea Freedom Week) 행사를 예수님의 부활절이 시작되는 4월 24일부터 30일까지 개최하게 된 것은 사망과 어둠의 권세를 물리치신 예수님의 부활이 한반도에서 북한해방과 북한인권법을 위한 기쁜 소식이 되도록 해야 하는 것이 하나님의 뜻이라 확신합니다.
북한자유연합과 개신교 가톨릭 북한인권단체, 국내외 북한인권단체, 탈북자단체, 자유민주주의 단체들과 북한자유주간 보도를 해 주신 언론인들에게 최고의 감사와 존경을 표합니다.
북한은 source of misery(비참의 근원)을 남한과 미국에 전가하지만 1995년이래 3백만 내지 4백만 북한동포가 굶어 죽은 것은 남한과 미국 탓이 아니라 북한전역 3만8천개의 김일성 동상과 김일성 시신이 안치된 김일성 궁전, 북한 핵과 미사일 개발, 천안함 테러와 연평도 포격, 김정일의 축첩과 초호화 생일축하연에 천문학적인 예산을 탕진한 탓입니다.
미국에서는 개신교와 가톨릭이 연대하여 미국의회에 북한인권법 통과를 위한 적극적인 로비활동과 압력단체 역할을 한 결과 만장일치로 북한인권법을 통과시킨 것과 대조적으로 한국의 대부분의 개신교와 가톨릭과 불교가 북한인권에 너무나 소극적이거나 반대한 결과 한국의 북한인권법은 아직도 국회에서 잠자고 있는 것은 부끄러운 일입니다.
북한인권법을 반대하는 세력은 북한인권법은 북한을 자극해 북한인권을 더 탄압하게 될 것이고 아무련 실효성이 없다고 하지만 그들은 북한인권을 탄압하는 북한독재정권의 눈치를 보는 북한독재정권의 대변인에 불과하고 북한의 가혹한 독재에 신음하다가 죽어간 수많은 북한동포의 울부짖는 아벨의 소리를 듣지 아니하는 사탄의 편입니다.
사탄에 대적하는 북한해방 부활의 기쁜 소식을 선포합시다.
북한동포의 적은 남한과 미국이 아닙니다. 대한민국을 독립시켜주고 북한독재정권과 중국의 6.25 무력남침을 저지해주고 북한인권법을 만장일치로 통과시킨 미국이 어찌 북한의 적일 수 있겠습니까? 한강의 기적과 민주화의 기적을 달성해 전세계가 부러워하는 남한이 결코 북한의 적이 아닙니다.
미국과 일본이 만장일치로 북한인권법을 통과시키고 유럽연합과 유엔에서 북한인권탄압을 규탄하는 결의를 하고 미국, 일본, 유럽연합을 비롯한 80여개 전세계 정부와 의회가 북한의 천안함테러를 규탄하는 성명이나 결의를 하여 북한의 인권탄압과 대남테러를 규탄하고 있는 것을 환영합니다.
하지만 같은 민족인 한국에서 아직도 북한인권법을 통과시키지 못하고 있다는 것은 너무나 부끄러운 일입니다. 민주당과 민노당은 북한인권법에 반대하고 한나라당도 민주당과 민노당보다는 호의적이지만 북한인권법 통과에 너무나 소극적이기 때문에 아직도 북한인권법이 통과되지 못하고 있습니다.
한나라당은 지난 총선에서 자유민주주의 투쟁을 한 불과 10여명의 보수인사들의 공천을 모두 탈락시킨 것이 북한인권법 통과를 가로막는 장애요인이 되어왔습니다.
지난 총선과 지방자치 공천에서 우파공천을 탈락시킨 잘못과 북한인권법통과에 소극적인 한나라당도 반성하고 시정해야 합니다.
미국의 오바마 대통령, 미국 민주당과 공화당, 미국 의회, 유엔, 유럽연합, 영국, 독일, 프랑스, 폴란드, 일본, 인도, 중국, 러시아, 캐나다, 오스트랄리아, 남아연방, 브라질 을 비롯한 모든 나라와 유엔과 그 회원국들, 전세계에서 북한인권운동을 위해 투쟁하는 모든 북한인권운동단체와 종교인과 학생과 인류에게 세계 모든 나라에서 북한인권법을 의회에서 통과되도록 투쟁하고 범죄, 테러, 분쟁, 가난, 질병, 도덕적 부패, 지구온난화, 독재로부터 인류를 구하는데 적극적인 헌신을 해 주실을 것을 간절히 호소합니다.
한국의 이명박 대통령, 박근혜 전 대표, 이회창 총재, 여야 정당, 국회, 그리고 노사, 종교, 언론, 문화, 시민단체의 모든 지도자들에게 예수님의 부활절부터 시작되는 북한자유주간에 국회에서 북한해방과 북한이권을 위해 극적으로 북한인권법이 통과되고 반미반정부 민란선동집단이 무너지는 또다른 하나님의 기적이 나타나도록 기도하고 헌신할 것을 간절히 호소합니다.

North Korea Freedom Week For the Liberation of North Koreans and North Koreans Human Rights Act.
North Korea Freedom Coalition(Representative Suzanne Scholte) holds the annual 8th North Korean Freedom Week here in Seoul from April 24 to May 1.
We really appreciate that North Korea Freedom Week guided by Holy Spirit for the liberation of North Korea begins from April 24 the Easter Day defeating the devil threatening us.
We would like to express our highest thank and respect to North Korea Freedom Coalition and churches of Protestant and Catholic and North Koreans human rights NGOs and conservative civil NGOs and mass communications participating or reporting or broadcasting in North Korea Freedom Week.
North Korea dictator has been imputing all the source of misery in North Korea to South Korea and the United States. Three to four millions North Koreans have been sacrificed resulting not from South Korea and the United States but from Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong-il their dictatorship spending too much budget not only to build over 38,000 Kim Il Sung's statues and his too luxurious Palace not only to develop nuclear weapon and mass destruction weapons not only to sink our navy ship Chunan not only to shoot Yeon Pyoung Island but also to please his many wives and his birthday party.
Churches of Protestant and Catholic in the United States contributed with solidarity to pass North Korean Human Rights Act in the House and the Senate unanimously. Japan also passed North Korea Human Rights Act unanimously.
Even the Europe Union and the United Nations made resolution to denounce North Korea dictatorship while China support North Korea dictatorship and North Korea's terror sinking our navy ship and let defectors return North Korea without their will.
Thank the United States, Japan, the European Union and the United Nations for your protest North Korea dictatorship.
It is a shame that North Korea Human Rights Bill is still sleeping in our National Assembly here in Korea and most of not only churches in Protestant and Catholic but Buddist Temple and other religion seldom pay attention to North Korean Human Rights Act.
Democratic Party and pro North Korea groups insists North Korea Human Rights Act incite North Korea resulting in persecuting human rights in North Korea more than before.
They are on the part of not North Koreans suffering from dictatorship but North Korea dictator. They don't want listen to the crying of Abel murdered by Cain.
North Korea's enemy is not South Korea and the United States.
The United States liberated Koreans in 1945 and passed North Koreans Human Rights Act and denounced North Korea dictatorship.
The United States are North Koreans' not enemy but real friend.
We ask our National Assembly not to be North Koreans enemy but friend by passing North Korea Human Right Bill right now.
We appeal honorable President Lee Myung Bak, ex-president of Grand Nation Pary Park Keun Heah, a representive of Liberal Party Lee Hoe Chang, National Assembly, the ruling party, the opposition parties, the capital and the labor, leaders of religion, education, culture and mass communication, and the people to do our best for Free North Korea! and the human rights bill to save North Koreans!
