According to New York Times "In a videotaped message he made before the trip, Mr. Park said he wanted to be arrested and had no intention of leaving North Korea voluntarily until it shuts down its camps. He also said he did not want President Obama to “buy his freedom.” It represents how much he loves North Koreans. 

뉴욕 타임스 보도에 의하면 로버트 박이 북한에 건너가기 전에 남긴 비데오 메시지에 의하면 자신은 구속되기를 바라고 북한의 정치범수용소가 해체될 때까지 자의로 북한을 떠나지 않을 것이고 오바마 대통령께서 자신의 자유를 돈으로 사기를 바라지 않는다“고 한 것은 북한동포에 대한 그의 간절한 사랑이 포함된 것을 증명한다.  

New York Times reported that “He was such a passionate Christian,” said Suh Suk-koo, a South Korean member  of the American-Korean Friendship National Council, a Virginia-based civic group founded by Korean-American Christians in the United States. “He said it was time to revive the spirit of early Christian martyrs who were not afraid of being eaten by lions during the Roman rule.”

The public statement for the liberation of North Korean translated into English by Lawyer Suh Suk Koo was read by American & Korean Friendship National Council representative Suh Suk Koo. Korea Fathers Federation representative Lee Chil Sung read letter appealing worldwide leaders and the people everywhere in the world written by Suh Suk Koo. 뉴욕 타임스지는  “한국계 미국인이 세운 미국 버지니아에 본부를 둔 한미우호증진협의회 한국지부 서석구 변호사는 ‘로버트 박은 정말로 훌륭한 목사이다. 로버트박 목사님의 북한 밀입국은 사자에 잡아 먹히는 것을 두려워하지 않았던 초대 로마시대의 순교자 정신을 부활시키는 순교행위" 라고 말했다고 보도했습니다.

Pax Koreana representative Jo Sung Rae criticized biased critics called Robert Park just like abnormal heroism. He defended Robert Park as a martyr and good missionary not being afraid of persecution. He also introduced Robert Park's asking for strong protest for the human rights of North Koreans    

팍스 코리아나 조성래 대표는 뉴욕 타임스와 미국의 소리 방송 인터뷰에서 로버트 박을 소영웅주의자라는 비난을 비판하면서 우리를 대신해 박해를 두려워하지 않는 순교자적인 신앙을 지닌 훌륭한 선교사라고 칭송했다. 그는 인터뷰에서 로버트 박은 12.30 북한인권행사를 강하게 진행해달라고 부탁했다고 전했다.      

Voice of America reported that A rally leader yells, "He crossed over the frozen Tumen River and shouted loudly and boldly that he had come to deliver God's love."

미국의 소리 방송은 12.30. 북한인권집회와 관련하여 집회 지도자는 "그는 하나님의 사랑을 전하러 얼어붙은 두만강을 건너왔다고 크게 담대하게 외쳤다"고 소리쳤다고 보도했습니다.

Korean Solidarity for Anti-Corruption reporter Jang Jae Kyoon introduced human rights event as major article named Worldwide North Korean Human Rights Event COUNTDOWN TO FREEDOM with public statement and videos. 부정부패추방연합회 장재균 기자는 북한인권행사를 전세계 북한인권행사 자유를 위한 카운트다운이라는 주요제목으로 보도하고 비데오도 함께 공개했습니다.  

Despite cold weather we are united for the liberation of North Koreans and the immediate release of Robert Park by restoring our alliance with the United States and democracy with the help of God. as many as two hundred members of Korea Fathers Federation(representative Lee Chil Sung, general secretary Choo Sun Hea) joins the event. Colleagues say Park, a devout Christian, crossed into North Korea on Christmas Day with a letter exhorting leader Kim Jong Il to close down concentration camps, and allow impoverished North Koreans access to outside aid.열정적인 크리스찬인 로버트 박은 크리스마스 날 김정일에게 정치범수용소를 해체하고 외부지원을 가능하게 하는 접근을 허용하도록 촉구하는 내용의 편지를 휴대하고 북한을 건너갔다.

A rally leader yells, "He crossed over the frozen Tumen River and shouted loudly and boldly that he had come to deliver God's love." 집회 지도자는 "그는 하나님의 사랑을 전하러 얼어붙은 두만강을 건너왔다고 크게 담대하게 외쳤다"고 소리쳤다.  

Activist Jo Sung-rae has known Park for about 10 years.  He says Park planned his action by himself, but Jo offers his support.  He says this is the first time the Gospel has entered North Korean territory in this way in 60 years. 활동가 조성래(주 팍스 코리아나 대표)씨는 로버트 박과는 10년간이나 알고 지낸 사이라고 밝혔다. 그는 로버트 박이 혼자서 자신의 행동을 계획했지만 로버트 박을 지지한다고 했다. 그는 60년만에 이런 방식으로 복음이 북한에 들어간 것은 처음이라고 했다.

Pyongyang has occasionally allowed Christian missionaries to visit, but only under tightly controlled conditions.평양은 가끔 크리스찬 선교사의 방문을 허용하지만 반드시 철저한 통제조건이 붙는다.  

Jo says Park entered North Korea exactly on the 25th - Christmas Day - with God's message.  North Korea is claiming the date was the 24th.  He says that shows that North Korea is really scared about this incident.

조성래씨는 12월 25일 하나님의 메시지를 가지고 북한에 들어갔다고 말했다. 북한은 그 날자를 24일이라고 한다.

그는 북한이 진정 이사건에 놀라고 있다는 것을 보여주고 있다고 말했다.   

Rally leader Seo Seok-gu says he expects that fear will lead North Korea to deport Park very soon.
집회 시위 지도자 서석구(주 변호사, 한미우호증진협의회 준비위원장)는 두려움이 북한으로 하여금 로버트 박을 곧 추방할 것으로 전망했다. 

He says all the world's conscience is focused on North Korea's next move in the Park case.  If the North treats him harshly, he says, there will be a strong global media backlash.  So, he says, North Korea will probably deport him. 그는 모든 인류양심이 로버트 박 사건에 대한 다음의 움직임을 주시하고 있다고 말했다. 북한이 그를 가혹하게 다룬다면 북한은 전지구적인 미디어의 격렬한 반발을 받게 될 것이라고 말했다. 그래서 그는 북한이 아마도 그를 추방하게 될 것이라고 말했다. 

Park said in a recent interview he is willing to be executed if it will spur international governments to action on North Korean human rights. 로버트 박은 최근의 인터뷰에서 국제적인 정부들이 북한인권에 박차를 가하게 된다면 기꺼이 처형되는 것을 두려워하지 않을 것이라고 밝혔다.
